JUST-a-BREAK was created by people just like you - individuals dedicated to making the world a better place by donating their time, enthusiasm, talents, means, and love. Families will continue to experience JUST-a-BREAK because of YOU!

WHAT DOES A VOLUNTEER DO?

There are several types of volunteers depending on your ability and time.

DONOR SEEKERS:

Donor Seekers communicate directly with local businesses in areas we serve to obtain gift certificates and / or donations. This position requires a minimum monthly commitment of 2 hours, and it can be done on your own time schedule. And don't worry...we will provide you all the material and training you need to effectively engage local businesses.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:

Volunteer Coordinators organize and direct volunteer efforts within their assigned region (Weber County, Davis County, Salt Lake County, etc). They also delegate assignments to other volunteers when necessary. This position requires a weekly commitment of 2-5 hours per week. JUST-a-BREAK will provide you with training and be there on going to assist you.

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS:

As a Special Event Volunteer, you will be needed only for a particular event. For example, you may help raise community awareness through local fairs, parades, or fundraiser. Time commitment will vary depending on the event and your availability.

WHY SHOULD I VOLUNTEER?

It is one of the most fulfilling things that you will do. Volunteering brings personal happiness. There are families out there in need of JUST-a-BREAK. Will you make that break?
